Champion

Congratulations to Combat Evolved, owned by league commissioner Oliver, for taking home the crown of Champion in Metabo's first year. Only 4 out of 15 roster spots on CE were occupied by players who remained on the roster the entire season. LeSean McCoy averaged 22.8 pts per game in weeks 1-15, propelling the team to the championship. In the finals, McCoy only scored 5.5 and Matthews only scored 10.4pts, but the slack was picked up by Brandon Marshall (27.6pts) and Free Agent Malcom Floyd (20.5pts) who was picked up 2 days before the final. Oliver would like to personally thank McCoy for his contribution this year and to the rest of his team for picking up the slack in the Championship when Shady went down.

Congratulations to 2nd place finisher Riggin Rigs owned by Andrew, who overcame an 0-2 start and a controversial finish to make it to the finals, and to 3rd place finisher Detroit Kittens owned by Josh, who overcame a 2-3 start and the loss of #5 draft pick, stud running back Jamaal Charles to come in 3rd. Better luck next year to the 3 West Coast teams who finished out of the playoffs.

Thanks to everyone for playing this season! I will be attempting to make Metabos an ongoing league that I hope everyone can enjoy in both a fun and competitive way. Please shoot me an email now if you have any suggestions for next year (playoff tiebreaker rules, toilet bowl, keeper league, number of divisions/players, etc), as I am sure by the time next year rolls around, we will all have forgotten the reasons we felt cheated this year. Hope to see you all next year!
